Perpuleh or Lentil potage is a kind of ethnic food of Sanandaj city in Kurdistan province. This food is usually cooked in winters.

How to Cook?

  1. wash lentils and let them boil with water in a pot.
  2. Chop onions and roast them with oil in a pan.
  3. Add salt and pepper powder to the pan and stir them.
  4. When the lentils boiled, add fried onions and savory spice to the pot.
  5. Finally, add noodles, put the cover of the pot and wait until the potage is cooked.

Guidance: For boiling and roasting the ingredients, temperature should be high and in final step for cooking the food, temperature should be low.
