Komaj; Persian Sweet Bread
Komaj is a sweet bread that is baked with rice flour and sugar. This sugary bread is a traditional sweet of Hamadan city.
Ingredients

[icon name=”check-square-o” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] Liquid oil (1/2 cup)

How to Bake?
- Mix sugar, water and leaven.
- Add 1/4 cup of oil to them.
- Add flour to leaven smoothly and knead them to make leaven least sticky.
- Put leaven in a bowl with oil and put a cloth on it for an hour.
- After 1 hour, make 6 ball-shaped things out of leaven and put each of the balls on the surface you had poured flour before.
- Widen leaven.
- Press leaven by rolling pin and pour on it crushed walnut and oil. Do this step for other balls.

- Make a hole in the middle of leavens and make a roll shape.
- Cut one side of these rolls.
- Put rolls on a round pan, widen them, add yolk and pour sesame on them.
- Now put round leavens in the oven with temperature of 180°C for 30 minutes.
This sweet is very good for breakfast.
