About Fariman Dam
85 kilometers to Mashhad and 10 kilometers in the southern part of Fariman, there is a dam built in ancient times.
The exact time of construction of the dam is not clear, but some people claim that about 1000 years ago the height of used to be only 4 meters and in Safavid era, the kings made it taller and it is now 20 meters.
