Introduction
Near Rahimabad Village in Gilan province, there is a canyon which is unknown for many people and we want to introduce it. Just professional tourists can enjoy Chakrud canyon. This place is suitable for rock climbers.
Through the canyon, you hear sounds of crickets and rivers. Pay attention not to travel here without a professional leaders and enough tools for rock claiming like rope. The canyon has been created because of erosions of water.
Some parts of the canyon will make you frightened. There are some stones in the canyon which have fell down from heights and have created a natural bridge. The canyon has different waterfalls the highest of which is 30 meters.
How to Get There?
Follow Ziaz road from Kelachay. When you reach Garmab Dasht, you will see two roads. Go straight. After reaching the next two roads, turn right and do this for the other two roads. When you passed last village, you need 20 minutes of walking to the canyon.
